This jersey was worn in warm ups and then worn on the bench by Ty Conklin on October 7th, 2011 who was backup to Jimmy Howard.
The jersey features the BM.RS.SL patch on the left sleeve in memory of Brad McCrimmon, Ruslan Salei and Stefan Liv who lost their lives in the Lokomotiv plane crash on September 7, 2011.
A red and white version of the Red Wings jersey was made that contained a unique tag imprinted on the inside with game date and opponent as well as the words “Love For Lokomotiv”.
